Objectives:
• Contributing to addressing the food security crisis through immediate support for the most vulnerable families through distribution of food supplies.
• Working to empower the agricultural sector towards sustainability through training courses and field work related to agriculture and the environment.
The activities:
• Securing direct support through food supplies (provisions/Mouneh), about 4,000 parcels each year.
• Developing and organizing a voucher for training program in return for a related to the subject of the training.
• Creating job opportunities for the neediest communities through cash-for-work activities.
• Developing and supporting farmer markets and creating new ones.
• Preparing a feasibility study for establishing an agricultural service center to support farmers and the development sector through supervision and training.
In numbers:
• 8000 food supplies (provision/Mouneh).
• 40,000 working days for about 500 beneficiaries.
• 52 villages/towns - training for about 1,088 beneficiaries (farmers and producers or those related to agriculture and production).
• Four regions (Shouf - Aley - West Bekaa - Zahle).
Duration: 24 months from December 2022 to November 2024
