• Bmohray

Bmohray contains the remains of Roman monuments and rock sarcophagi but there is no record of the history of the village.

Most probably its first inhabitants were tradesmen engaged in the trade of cedar wood which is still abundant in the area.

The Bmohray cedar forest covers one million square meters while the pine forest covers three million square meters.

Before the Lebanese civil war of 1975-1990 the main source of income for the village were the apple orchards.

There are no restaurants or hotels at Bmohray but there are several sites in the pine forests that are suitable for picnics and camping.
